THE MAJOR COVENANTS OF THE BIBLE
COURSE DESCRIPTION
This is a study of the major covenants of the Bible beginning with the Adamic Covenant and concluding with the New Covenant.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
► To present a biblical and theological overview of all the major covenants of the Bible.
► To declare the necessity of covenantal understanding as the basis for restoring the family, building the church, and discipling the nations.
► To present the covenant structure as a tool for interpreting Scripture.
COURSE ACADEMICS
This course is worth four quarter units of credit in the degree programs of Embassy College.
Your Instructor
A graduate of Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois and Central Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, Kansas, Jim has founded and led churches in Kansas, West Virginia, and Texas. For eleven years, he was professor of New Testament Studies at Christ For the Nations Bible Institute in Dallas, Texas. For several years, he also served as Missions Director at Christ For the Nations which was founded by Gordon and Freda Lindsay.
Having ministered in over 40 nations, Jim serves the Body of Christ as a teaching apostle with a passion to see a mature Church and a victorious Kingdom of God in the earth. He resides in the Dallas area with his wife Jean.
